Over 50,000km through 19 Countries; England, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia to Timor L'Este.
From Darwin to Broome, then back again to Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
A few pics. Pretty much all my pics are on Facebook - or will be - since it's a bugger to upload them here. I might have a mess around using Picassa and Google since I can't be bothered sitting in front of the netbook for hours on end uploading one photo at a time.
Howdy, I'm a 23 year old Engineering graduate attempting to delay the inevitable of a long term job by buggering off to see the world and hopefully aiming to get to Australia, or at least somewhere in that general direction. I'll be riding a KTM 640 Adventure all being well, departing in late July 2009 and arriving whenever..
I departed the UK on the 25th July 2009 and rode through Belgium, France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and India to Nepal. From Kathmandu I air-freighted my bike to Bangkok, Thailand, then popped into Laos, Cambodia and Burma. I then headed down to Malaysia and popped my bike on a boat to Sumatra.
I spent over 2 months on Pulau Weh at the most Northern tip of Sumatra training to become a Dive Master then island hopped my way across Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa and Flores to Timor then hopped over the border to Timor L'Este.
That's South East Asia completed, now I've shipped my bike to Darwin Australia.
Great stuff, keep the pics coming!!!
